Shire Oak Cycling Club raise £139.00 for “Help a Squaddie” charity.

The good folk at Shire Oak Cycling Club decided to take part in a “poppy day ride out” on 11th November.

Voluntary donations were welcomed by the club, and were to be passed on to a very local charity.

19 riders set out on Sunday morning in some quite wretched weather conditions. During the ride and on preceding days, monies began to roll in. There were many donations from both those that rode out and some that didn’t.

The clubs final tally was £139.00 which was promptly sent over to the Help a Squaddie charity.

Thank you from HELP A SQUADDIE X
